Nestled along the Alleheny River in the southwest corner of Armstrong County Pennsylvania, Freeport is a small town of approximately 1,700 people. Conveniently located just off of exit 17 of Route 28, it is within a half hour drive of Pittsburgh, Butler and Kittanning areas. The area is home to several local businesses and is in close proximity to several golf courses. Several establishments offer places for dining and drinking. The area is also a very popular area for boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding, with access to both Buffalo Creek and the Kiskimentas River.

Dining/Catering

Smokin’ Toads, located on Route 356 in Sarver, offers casual, rustic, BBQ dining as well as catering. You will often find them serving their fine BBQ fare at various events held at the event center.

The Rainbow Inn has been a staple of Freeport for many years. Right off of Route 356 as you cross the bridge and enter into town. Home of The Man Can beer special. Stop by and saddle up to the bar.

Brewery

Missing Links Brewery is located in front of the Butler Farm Market along Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township. They offer a wider variety of craft beers brewed on site, and a full menu of made to order dishes. You can find Missing Links serving their craft beer at many events held at the event center.

Brewery

Conny Creek Brewing Company can be found on Route 56 in Lower Burrell as well as inside Sprankles Market in Saxonburg. Conny Creek also runs a food and craft beer truck and are a part of the Second Sunday Socials held at the event center.
